![]() ![]() Here are the things I did that has improved prformance.ġ) Ensure you have the latest AMD Catalyst installed (I was 2 versions behind. I must say that although I have a slight judder issue, I wouldn't call it huge. In the menus I've got a solid 75 fps and headtracking works perfect, but when I'm in the game I get maximum 50 fps  What I've already done is turned down all the settings at the absolute minimum, except kept the resolution at 1920 x 1080. ![]() I've got a huge problem with judder and I think it is an fps problem. I should buy it really, if only as a thanks for supporting VR, but I bout assetto corsa for VR play (even though it doesnt work just yet) and will probably end up with pCARS again at some point, so reticent to buy another racer. That runs flawlessly on my rig too and is really good fun. ![]() I do not know much about AMD cards sorry, but I did think yours was an ok level, at least on a par with mine, so fingers crossed it is a software issue somewhere. PS on my GTX670 with an I5 2500k, on low detail, but with supersampling up to 100%, ETS2 is an amazing experience, and, much like elite, is a game i will never again play on a flat screen. In VR however they are still amazing and run flawless on my mid range pc (GTC670).īut yes, if you want pCARS, Elite Dangerous, Star Citizen running as well as on a single screen. These are games which have way less detail and on a flat screen look basic and uninteresting. Look at stuff like titans of space, robobliteration, lost in the rift, faceted flight. Once VR takes off I hope we will see proper made for VR games, which will fix many of the issues. I think you need to remember a few things.ġ) The guys at oculus can do a few things to improve matters but they cant change biologyĢ) yes it is an expensive business for now, but what is cutting edge now will be medium range in 12 months time and entry level in 3 years time.ģ) many of these games were not built with VR in mind. You guys complaining about the poke it takes to run in VR comfortably. ![]()
